Watershed management

The watershed management can be defined as. It is the management of the surface runoff either by tapping the surface water on the surface or [land] by allowing the surface water to percolate to recharge the groundwater i.e. there water table.
It is the land area from which water drains the influence of gravity into a stream or lake or reservoir or another body of surface water. For the development mainly of agriculture of the watershed area needs to have some scientific approach which is known as watershed management.
